Wednesday February 17 2010
TRALEE Dynamos have secured their licence for the coming season following an announcement by the FAI on Monday. As with all clubs Dynamos had to fulfill a stringent proceess, including the submitting of accounts and budgets to the FAI, before it was confirmed that they will again be the only Kerry club side playing League of Ireland football.
Tralee Dynamos were awarded their A Championship Licence along with Castlebar Celtic, Cobh Ramblers, FC Carlow and Tullamore.
All teams who go on to make up the Premier Division will have teams in the 'A' Championship while the First Division teams will also be eligible to enter this competition. It has been indicated the Limerick will enter the 'A' Championship this season.
Once the make up of the Divisions is known today ( Wednesday) Tralee Dynamos will then be in a better position to know their opponents for the campaign. However, preseason is well underway with the club awaiting the draws for the FAI Ford Cup and the EA Sports Cup. The club is also continuing to plan for the forthcoming U19/U20 League which will kick off in July.
