A DELEGATION from the FAI inspected Tralee Dynamos grounds at Cahermoneen last Friday to access the infrascructure as regards obtaining a club license to play in the League of Ireland Division 1. They assessed the facilities and will be officially announcing the clubs that have been awarded licenses on February 12.

GARY O'neill (Wolves and ex Kingdom Boys, below) is in the Irish squad who are in Portugal this week in preparation for the UEFA Under-17 elite qualifiers to be staged by minigroup hosts Netherlands from March 22 to 27. ON Sunday last in the Kerry Community Games the qualifying of the boys Under 15 indoor soccer were held with thirteen teams involved. They were divided into three groups of three and a group of four. In Mountcoal the morning session involved Beaufort, Duagh / Lyre and Moyvane / Knockanure and the latter prevailed to secure the semifinal spot after two exciting games with their opponents.
