CASTLEMAINE dented The Park aspirations of lifting the league title whne they defeated them at the mid Kerry venue.

After a scoreless first half Castlemaine went ahead with a fine strike by John O'connor mid way through the second half and another by Cathal Moriarty put them in charge of the game.

The Park did pull one back through David Doyle but Castlemaine remained strong to collect the three league points.

Best for the winners were Moss Moriarty, j J Griffin and man of the match John O'connor.

DENNY DIVISION 1B

Listowel Celtic B 1

Tralee Celtic 2

TRALEE Celtic came from behind to steal all three points in the only game in Division 1B.
