Celtic Park is a jewel
It was my first time at the Celtic grounds in two years and I must say that the facilities now in place are one of the very best in the county.
With two excellent pitches, a fine astra turf pitch and a fantastic clubhouse, as well as the floodlights on the night, showed the true splendour of this jewel in the crown of Kerry soccer.
Now the club are at an advanced stage of building two spectator stands which will further enhance their excellent facilities.
The local press were afforded the very best of hospitality on the evening with plenty of food and refreshments available which was very welcome on a chilly evening.
