Roscommon win for Tralee's Bryan Cooper

TRALEE apprentice jockey Bryan Cooper continues to impress and added to his growing reputation at Roscommon Races on Tuesday evening where he was seen at his very best on First Beauty for his mentor Dessie Hughes in the 2ml 4f novice hurdle.
The 6/4 favourite was held up and made smooth progress four out, went to the front on the approach to the straight, was headed coming to the last, but had cleverly saved a little, and rallied well under a powerful drive from the saddle to lead close home and race home a well merited two length winner.
