Kilflynn are boxing clever with arrival of new club
A NEW boxing club in the county has been affiliated with the Irish Amateur Boxing Assocaition (IABA) and is presently inviting new members to join.
The Trojan boxing clubin based in the Community Centre in Kilflynn, and its coaches are David Brosnan and Graham Ball.
With summer ending and the 2010-2011 boxing season looming, clubs will soon be resuming their weekly training schedule in gyms throughout the county. They will be meeting and training with the goal of competing in the upcoming leagues, tournaments, championships, and overseas competitions.
Kerry's network of amateur boxing clubs, and the people who train and coach them, embody all that is positive about the sport. More young people are taking it up and more champions are being produced.
An enrolment eveing takes place this Friday at 7.30pm.
