Another win for Cooper as three Kerry jockeys are first past the post

TRALEE'S Bryan Cooper has made a tremendous start to his racing career and scored his third racecourse success on Son Amix in the Kilberry maiden hurdle at Navan races on Saturday.
Confidently ridden he raced in third at halfway, went a close second traveling well four out, eased to the front three from home and was able to take several long glances at his toiling rivals, going clear two out to win by 28 lengths without coming off the bridle. It was one of the most impressive four-year old maiden hurdle winners seen all season. He is trained by the jockey's father, Tom, who appears to have an above average jumping recruit in his care.
Meanwhile, Tralee jockey Philip Enright was victorious at Fairyhouse on Wednesday, on 8/1 chance Mollys Boy, which won easily by three lengths from Hot or What.
At Clonmel races on Sunday last, Dingle jockey Pat Kennedy won the two mile handicap hurdle on 7/2 chance Hidden Crack by three lengths for Monasterivin trainer Seamus Fahey.
