Minor championship at quarter-final stage
THE quarter-finals of the Keanes County Minor Championship take place on Tuesday next, August 3. There is one back game that will be played on Monday, August 2: Feale Rangers V Legion at 7pm. MINOR HURLING LEAGUE TWO finals took place in the Keanes County Minor Leagues on Monday night last. Congratulations to Lixnaw that over came Causeway 3-13 to 1-9 to win the Division 1 Final and to Ballyheigue that won the Division 1 shield 2-9 to 0-7.
Gerard McCarthy, the County Hurling Minor Manager, presented the winning trophy to the Lixnaw / Crotta Captain Sean Weir in Abbeydorney after their win. He wished Muiris Delaney from Causeway a speedy recovery from his injury sustained in County Championship and said Muiris would be missed in the All Ireland B campaign that starts in two weeks.
Joe Walsh presented the the Ballyheigue captain Mark O'Regan with the Division 1 Shield following their win in the Shield Final in Kilmoyley.
KERRY GAA TEAMS LOTTO THE Jackpot for the Kerry teams Lotto this week was € 16,200 and the numbers drawn at the ccc meeting on Monday night were 27, 26, 15 & 22.
