Listowel owners win at Killarney races
AT Killarney races on Thursday Hildor owned by Patricia and Maurice Regan, from Listowel, and trained by Joseph G Murphy at Fethard (Co Tipperary) was a hugely impressive winner of the Dawn Omega Milk Maiden over 1ml 3f.
Confidently ridden by Billy Lee, from Ballngarry (Co Limerick), she was always prominent and eased to the front, over three furlongs out and went clear, totally in command to the finish she won easily by two lengths from Dazzle Dancer and will next head to Galway for a 1ml 4f handicap according to the winning trainer.
The winning owners, who are proprietors of the magnificent Newtown Anner Stud Farm near Clonmel, are tremendous supporters of both Irish and English flat racing and have their racing interests and ownerships spread amongst Ireland's and England's leading trainers.
