The Kerryman Captains Challenge

HAVING been asked by at least half a dozen people over the past month or so about The Kerryman Captain's Challenge, I thought I'd better clear up a little matter regarding it.
The annual event sponsored by The Kerryman is for the winners of both the Men's and Ladies Captain's prizes at Kerry's twenty affiliated golf clubs only.
Winners of Society Captain's Prizes do not qualify and neither does the winner of the Kerry Federation Captain's Prize, which is coming up shortly at Killorglin on September 11.
The Kerryman Captain's Challenge for 2010 takes place at Dooks Golf Club on Saturday October 9 with the tee reserved from 9am to 11am and in the coming weeks we will be bring you profiles of this year's contestants who will battle it out for the ultimate prize at Dooks.
Last year Tralee's Michael Sheehy Junior and Castleisland's Ann Stuart took the honours at Ballybunion so who will following their footsteps?
