A letter from Declan Malone, Group Editor

Dear Reader, The Kerryman is about to change its website, offering enhanced premium content.
The Kerryman has served the people of Kerry, at home and abroad, since 1904 and we give our readers an unrivalled package of local news, sports and entertainment content both in print and online.
Since we relaunched our website – www.kerryman.ie – in 2008, it has gone from strength to strength, becoming the place to go for up-to-date information on Kerry and beyond.
We will be introducing changes from March 22 2010 so that wherever you are, you can be guaranteed to keep in touch with Kerry by purchasing access to our superb premium content.
There will be multiple secure payment methods, ranging from a micropayment for single articles to time-based subscriptions that provide access to all premium content. All payments will be processed by RealEx, an Irish-based secure online payments company.
We will continue to provide abundant local free content and free to access services without charge on our website. These include:
• Searchable local cinema listings and movie reviews
• Searchable local entertainment listings across music, theatre, comedy, dance and leisure
• Local and national weather
• Brand new archive search , covering content on The Kerryman back to 2002
• Local jobs listings via our jobsite www.loadzajobs.ie
• Local property listings via our property website www.globrix.ie
• Local car listings via our motors website www.loadzacars.ie
• Searchable business listings on our directory website www.yourlocal.ie
• Photo galleries of key local events
• Breaking news throughout the day
The Kerryman will be available on iPhone with the launch of our very own iPhone application. You can access the new mobile service here via Apple’s iTunes Store .
I am also pleased to announce our new print replica digital edition . This is an exact reproduction of the newspaper that you read online.
I thank you for your loyal support in the past and we look forward to serving the community for another 100 years and more in print, online and mobile.
