Thousands to attend three parades

THE Rose parade is always a highlight of the festival attracting thousands of spectators eager to get a close up look at the current crop of Roses.
This year there will be theee parades on Saturday Sunday and on Tuesday night.
Saturday and Sunday's parades will will feature over 700 participants with 12 floats, 10 marching bands, and 150 costumed performers along with a host of pre parade performers, samba bands and of course 32 new Roses and the current Rose of Tralee, Charmaine Kenny.
Saturday's parade begins at 8.30 and Sunday's at 2.30. The parade will make its way along Baherbee and Castle Street onto Denny Street concluding at the Ashe Hall.
Tuesday night's parade, when the winning Rose will greet the people, begins at 11.30 and will be shorter, traveling only down Denny Street.
Both The Saturday and Tuesday night parades will be followed by a spectacular Fireworks display.
