Pupils set for acting debut
The cast of Tarbert Comprehensive School's production of 'Under Brooklyn Bridge' which will be staged in Tarbert this week.

EIGHT students from Tarbert Comprehensive will make their acting debut this Thursday and Friday, December 2 and 4, when they take to the stage at the Tarbert Bridewell.
The Leaving Cert applied students will perform an original oneact play by local writer, Mary Lavery Carrig, called 'Under Brooklyn Bridge,' which tells the story of eight homeless Irish people living in Brooklyn.
The cast will feature Terrence Caffrey, Eric Costello, Chloe Buckley, Edel Quinn, Seamus Cox, Michaela Fennell, Nicole Fenlon and Danny Wren — all of whom have been participating in the school's lunchtime youth drama project.
Following months of rehearsals, and invaluable assistance from Johnny and Brendan Mulvihill, and Maura McDermott and Pricilla Donovan, the finished product will be performed on Thursday and Friday at 1.15pm. Entry is €2.
