Model way to spend the afternoon

MINI farms, farmyard machinery animals and buildings were all on show at the Model Mad agricultural toy show in The Ballyrore Heights Hotel on Sunday, in aid of the Irish Kidney Association.
Almost 500 farm model enthusiasts of all ages from North Kerry and Tralee browsed at the farm models and agricultural dispalys from Model Mad, JD Sheds both from Ballyduff who built the small scale sheds for the models, Tommy's Rocking Horses from Causeway, Alpha Model Craft and Digital Marshmallow.
Toy lovers were treated to five high quality farmyard models on show complete with farming activities, machinery, animals and sheds.
"I am delighted to report that the show was a roaring sucess," said Sean Healy of Model Mad Ballyduff, one of the event organisers.
"We donated the proceeds of €1,200 raised from the door to the Irish Kidney Association and a lot of the traders in the show have taken a lot of orders for Christmas." concluded Sean.
