Man got 'mouthy' on his birthday
A MAN has been fined €300 for being "mouthy" to gardaí on his birthday.
Michael O'brien of 2A St Stephen's Park Castleisland appeared before Castleislsnd District Court last week where he pleaded guilty to engaging in threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour.
The court heard that he was out celebrating his 23rd birthday when he encountered gardaí in Castleisland at around 1.30am.
Inspector Martin Mccarthy said he became "mouthy and lippy" and was subsequently arrested. Judge James O'connor imposed a fine of €300.
