Listowel man elected to RSF executive

A LISTOWEL man has been elected secretary of the Republican Sinn Féin Munster Executive.

John Sheehy, from Listowel, was elected to the position at a meeting of the organisation's Munster delegates at a recent meeting.

Broadford publican and local historian Seamus Ó Súilleabháin was elected Chairman of the Munster Executive at the meeting. A wellknown speaker at Republican ceremonies, Mr Ó Súilleabháin runs his own bar in the Co Limerick town.

John Sheehy has been to the forefront of the No English Queen in Kerry campaign, according to a press release from the organisation.
