Legal aids high earners

TWO barristers who regularly practice in Kerry's courts have been named among the 15 to earners from the legal aid scheme last year.
Barrister Brian McInerney was the third highest earning barrister in the state in terms of legal aid last year, earning a total of € 366,091 for representing clients on legal aid in 2009.
Meanwhile, Anthony Sammon earned a total of € 206,809 in legal aid fees in 2009, the 11th highest in the state.
