Kayaker's body recovered from lake
A 10-WEEK-OLD baby is without her father this week after the body of 38year-old Tralee man Neilus O'connor was discovered in a mid Kerry lake on Tuesday afternoon.
Father-of-one Neilus O'connor was reported missing by his partner, Killorglin woman Melissa Clifford, shortly before 10am on Friday morning. It is believed he went out kayaking on Lough Yganavan in Cromane, some time between 1am and 3am on Friday morning.
The body was discovered in six feet of water by two local boatmen at approximately 3.15pm on Tuesday, ending an extensive five day search of the freshwater lake.
