THOSE hoping for a sun drenched festival will be disappointed but it seems it won't be a wash out either.
According to Met Eireann the past few days' dank weather is set to improve on Friday and remain relatively good for the duration of the festival.
Some rain is forecast on Friday but this will be followed by some brighter weather expected to come from the Atlantic over the weekend.
The weather is expected to remain changeable and unsettled until next Tuesday but only light scattered showers have been forecast and Kerry is expected to fare relatively well until the middle of next week.
