A DINGLE resident has been ordered to pay € 400 to the court poor box to avoid a conviction for being drunk in public
Dublin native Myles Vickers, who now lives in Dunquin, pleaded guilty to the offence which occurred at Dingle Mart Yard on June 20, 2011. The court heard that Mr Vickers, who has been living in West Kerry for 12 years, was highly intoxicated and falling around and had to be arrested for his own safety.
