Boy gets split lit in row with teen girl
A YOUNG trainee florist from Castleisland has appeared in court charged with assaulting a teenage boy on St Patrick's Day last year.
Michelle O'sullivan (aged 18) of 19 St Stephen's Park appeared at Castleisland District Court where she pleaded guilty to assault causing harm at Spout Lane, Castleisland on March 17 last. The court heard Ms O'sullivan got involved in an argument with the boy, who was known to her, and she hit him in the face damaging his lip.
Judge James O'connor noted that she has no previous convictions and ordered that she pay €600 in compensation and €750 to the court poor box. €400 of the compensation figure was handed over in court.
