THE transition year students at Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne will stage the school's annual fashion show this Thursday, March 11, in the CBS Hall. The theme of this year's event is 'The Oscars' and it promises to be a glamorous affair. Fresh from their successful staging of the musical 'Grease' 60 students have been rehearsing for the show at various locations.
The event will be compered by a 'special guest' whose identity was a closely guarded secret at the time of going to press. There is also word of a surprise act during the show and that too remains a mystery.
The outfits on display are being provided by boutiques in Dingle and Tralee.
PCD teacher Cíarán Ó Móráin is charged with organising the show which begins at 8pm. Admission for adults is €7, €5 for children and €20 for a family. All profits from the night will be donated to the Camphill Community in Dún Síon.
