THE West Coast Hotrod championship will be held on this Sunday, August 1, at the newly-refurbished tarmac track in Kilflynn and racing starts at 12noon sharp.
Enthusiasts and spectators are invited and come along and see some local drivers competing and driving at their best to become the 2010 West Coast Champions in the various categories and new members will be made welcome.
The track is located on the main Tralee to Listowel road approximately five miles from Tralee and up the road beside 'A day in the Bog' visitor centre. The event and venue will be well sign-posted.
A prize-giving ceremony, with finger-food and spot-prizes, will take place at Cons Bar in the River Island Hotel here in Castleisland at 9pm after Sunday's event and a good day's racing and a great night's fun is assured.
