LISTOWEL'S annual parish bazaar kicks off this Friday at the Boys' School as the hall there opens its doors to no end of items and fun.
All are urged to help this week as the final preparations are put in place by donating worthy items for sale and auction at the weekend fundraiser.
The Listowel Parish Bazaar takes place in the Boys' School on Friday and Saturday, December 4 and 5, between 8pm and midnight each date.
With hampers of between €50 and €500 both nights as well, it promises to be a massive draw and a great start to the Christmas season in town.
"We will have door prizes, hampers and great bargain to be had in the auction which will be run by our very entertaining auctioneers, Michael Dowling and Brendan Behan," Bazaar PRO, Julie Gleeson, said.
"The one big thing however is that we don't have enough collectors going door-to-door and we would ask people to bring items to the bazaar centre at the Boy's School on either Thursday or Friday, between 2pm and 6pm," she added.
The money raised through the bazaar will go mostly towards the foreign missions, with some remaining in Kerry for local charities. "We would just like to thank everybody involved, including all our volunteers and those who sponsored everything."
