THE Community Centre transforms into a Chirstmas wonderland this coming week with fun for all the kiddies, including a visit from a very important guest indeed.
Yes, Santa Claus pays a call to Listowel with the start of the Family Fun Day on Saturday next, December 5, at 2pm in his very own cottage at the centre. Santa's Cottage opens on Saturday and Mr Claus will be present along with his good wife, Mrs Claus, to give presents and sit for photographs with all his young fans. A bouncy castle will also be in place, just in case all that isn't excitement enough for the young energies.
The Family Fun Day continues on Tuesday, December 8, from 3.30pm to 5.30pm, with a special 'Giving Tree' set up so that people might leave presents for the St Vincent dePaul's Christmas campaign. Fun bingo for adults will also be on hand and the Listowel singers will perform on Saturday, from 23pm. The centre is now taking school group bookings on (068) 22244.
