LOTTO: There was no winner of 22nd November lotto jackpot of 7,600 the numbers drawn were 4,5,6,18. The 35 was won by Mick Naughton, Lyre and the 20 was won by Tom Leen, Ballymac. The four sets of free tickets for next weeks jackpot of 7,750 were won by Margaret Dowling, Gortacloghane, Imelda Murphy, Lyre, Helen O'Brien, Duagh and Catherine Sommers, Renagown . The whiskey was won by Jimmy Roche, Lyre and the voucher by Albert Roche, Lyre. The first Christmas finalist drawn was Margaret Dowling, Gortacloghane.
SCHOOL: Lyre N.S. are holding a fund raising raffle for the school. 2 per line. 1st Prize is a 26" Philips LCD TV (HD ready) sponsored by Lyre Development Ltd and supplied by Tomo Burke Electricial, Castleisland and 2nd prize is a Children's Bicycle, sponsored by Lyre N.S. and supplied by Paddy Reidy's, Abbeyfeale. The raffle will take place at their Christmas Pantomime which will be held in Lyre Resource Centre on Monday 21st December at 7p.m. Everybody is welcome and tickets can be purchased from the school 5 per adult, children are free. The schools annual Christmas Hampers raffle will take place also on the night. Tickets for which can be purchased at the panto. Your support would be greatly appreciated for this fund raising event.
CHRISTMAS PARTY: The parent's council of Lyre N.S. are hosting their annual children's Christmas party on Sunday 13th December at 3p.m in Lyreacrompane Resource Centre.
FLOWERS: The annual Christmas floral demonstration presented by Anne Crowley, from All About Flowers, Killorglin which is hosted by Lyreacrompane Development Company Ltd. takes place in the resource centre on Wednesday 16th December at 8p.m. Cost 10 which includes Door Prize and refreshments. Why not come along and bring a friend to this seasonal event.
