Kerry Farmer's Hunt Club
Wednesday March 10 2010
WHAT A DAY we had. We started in the Village of Asdee at 1.15 and didn't get back until 6.20. We were out for 5 hours with thirty-two jumps. This was some hunt, three areas, Asdee, Lisselton and Ballylongford down by Carrig Island and back the shore and home to Jack Js again. The jumps tested quite a few of us where the fallers landed in style. Well done to the two boys that did their first hunt and had no falls. Hats off to Paudie McMahon and John Jones, also Shauna Madden Ryan that joined us from Limerick for the day. A big thanks to her family for making the trip. Happy birthday to Connie and Laura who had birthdays during the week. A big thanks to Johanna and Tom and Jasper, Paudie, John, Mike, Paul for all the work that went on. Also Jack Js for the food. Next week we're in Duagh, it's the last hunt so hopefully you'll all make. St. Patricks Day we are in Castleisland as we were asked to lead out the parade and then on to Brosna for our charity ride. A big thanks to all the landowners for the use of their land. Duagh will be another long hunt so we will be leaving on time.
