FÉILE na Cásca will be held again this year in An Máimín, Ballyferriter from April 4 – 11 with artworks from more than 60 artists on show and on sale.
In preparation for this year's exhibition local schools will explore the friendship between Ireland and Scotland, which will link in with the Pan Celtic Festival.
Two singers, Anna Stuart of the Isle of Skye and Seosaimhín Ní Bheaglaoích, will visit local primary schools to give pupils a taste of Gaedhlic and some Gaedhlic songs.
Six visual artists will work with pupils and teachers to develop material for Féile na Cásca which celebrates this special relationship. The artists taking part are Lone Uí Raghallaigh, Áine Uí Dhúbhshláine, Andrew Duggan, Domhnal Ó Bric, Susan Ní Chearna and Beití Uí Riain. Gach eolas: Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne 066 9156100
