Walking: Emma & Niall Prendeville travelled to the Isle of Man at the weekend for the Festival of Road Walking which is always well supported.
The journey was worthwhile as Emma won the girls 5k race in a time of 24 mins 38 secs, which was a new personal best. Niall took part in the men's 10k and was quite happy with his 2nd place. Well done. Fixture: The Co. Indoor Sports Hall Athletics for U9 to U14 will take place in Tralee CBS Hall (near Aquadome) on Saturday at 11am. The programme includes spring, hurdles, shot and relay. County Awards Social: Will take place in The Brandon Hotel, Tralee, also on Sat at 8pm. Eleven club athletes are receiving awards, so why not come along and show your support. Adults E25, Juveniles E20. Training: Keep Fit in Farranfore Hall Tue 6 - 8pm. Primary School Children Thur 5 - 6pm and 6-7pm. Secondary School/Seniors on Sunday at 11am.
