CROSS COUNTRY/ROAD: Arthur Fitzgerald was the third Kerry finisher at the All Ireland Novice Cross Country in Coleraine, Co. Derry. A long journey and tough conditions - well done. Well done also to all the runners who took part in and finished the road races in Killarney and Killorglin. Keep up the training for our own 4 mile race from Farranfore to Firies and back on St. Stephen's Day (12 noon). Every finisher will receive a special medal this year. You may walk, jog or run. EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS: Some club members are travelling to Santry, Dublin on Sunday for the European Cross Country Championships. Ireland has some promising young runners coming up and hopefully they will do well in front of the home crowd. KEEP FIT: Keep Fit continues on Tuesdays 7-8pm in Farranfore Hall and Primary School athletics on Thursdays 5-6pm and 67pm.
