AN ambitious undertaking by the Currow Cycling Club will begin on Thursday, April 29, when 13 club members will set off from Malin Head the farthest northern part of county Donegal and indeed of Ireland and set out for Mizen Head on the southern point of county Cork.

Cyclists taking part in this 410 mile journey are : Tom Kenny, Eamonn Collier, Steve Key, Pat Brosnan, Kevin Griffin, Joe Geaney,, Adrian Shanahan, Mark Collins, Kieran O' Connor, Stuart Newans, Donncha Clifford and brothers, John and Patrick Breen.

The itinerary is as follows: April 29: Malin Head – Bundoran (87 miles); April 30: Bundoran – Athlone (85 miles); May 1: Athlone – Limerick (87 miles); May 2: Limerick – Currow (64 miles); May 3: Currow – Mizen Head (via Killarney, 87 miles).
