"TO clarify from the NRA in conjunction with Kerry County Council, how many landowners in total did they have to purchase lands for the construction of Castleisland By-pass and as work is now at an advanced stage, have all relevant landowners been paid in full for their property."
Reply: The total number of landowners from whom lands are being acquired on the N21 Castleisland Bypass Road Improvement Scheme is 32. Agreement has been reached with 27 of these landowners.
A total of 25 landowners have been paid in full and, in the other two cases the landowners legal representatives are in the process of providing proper title to the properties to enable payment to be made.
The remaining five agreements are likely to be completed in 2010 subject to their title being in order.
