THE outstanding success of last year's Honda 50 Run from Castleisland through North Kerry has given the charity fund-raiser a firm foothold on the annual calendar of events here.
Organised jointly by Jim Griffin ( pictured left) and his brother-inlaw Pat Russell, last year's run was held on Sunday, September 27, from An Riocht Athletic Club grounds.
Scores of Honda enthusiasts took part and it made a colourful spectacle as the bikers headed off up the Limerick Road on the first leg of their journey.
Jim Griffin rang on Monday to say the whole thing will happen again this year and the 2010 version details will be launched at An Riocht grounds on this Wednesday at 2pm. The launch will be attended by a VIP from the recent Rose of Tralee festival.
