CLUB LOTTO: Last week's Club Lotto Draw took place at Tomaisins. The numbers drawn 2,20,22,24. There was no winner. The winners of the lucky dips were: Pa Foley - Glouria, Mary Hunt - Athea, Gerard, Moran - Kiltean, Dolores O Connor - Kilgarvan, Brendan O Driscoll - Tullamore. The winners of the three free draws were; Niamh Cronin - Kilmurry, Patrick Lynch - Kilgarvan, Kitty Madden - Lr. Kilgarvan. This weeks draw, for a jackpot of 2,400 euro will take place in Cantillons on Friday night. COISTE SCOR NA NOG NA MUMHAN: Ballydonoghue are Munster champion. A huge contingent of Ballydonoghue and North Kerry Scor supporters made the long trip to Cappaquinn, Co Waterford on Sunday last to cheer on our competing competitors from the Kingdom for the eagerly awaited Munster Finals of Scor Na Nog. Ballydonoghue will represent Kerry in the Instrumental Music category; Kevin O Neill, Kieran O Connell, Myra O Connell, Cassandra Cremin, Jason Foley. The All Ireland Finals will be staged in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, Co Mayo on Saturday February 18th. Starting time 3:00pm SCOR NA BPAISTI. The North Kerry Finals of Scor Na bpaisti will be staged in the Tintean Theatre Ballybunion on Sunday February 26th with a starting time of 3:00pm sharp. COISTE Na nog AGM: will be held in the Clubrooms in Coolard on Friday the 3rd of Feb. at 730pm sharp. RESULTS: N.K. 2011U21cíship semi-final: St. Senans (1-11) Ballydonoghue (0-7). FIXTURES: Co. Dancing to the one and only Dave Lawlor Big Band. A great crowd is expected and tickets are going fast call 068 27111 YOUTH CLUB: Our teenage youth clubbers went to Killarney on Sunday to compete in the County Final of the Quiz and U15 and U18 Indoor Soccer.

The U18 Quiz team of Kevin Harty, Pádraig Lyons and Elaine Mccarthy were on top of their game and were the eventual winners. Thanks to Betty and Rick Harty for looking after them in Killarney.

On then to the U15 boys Indoor Soccers. The U15 team was John Scully, Brian Mason, Kieran Lynch, Brian Ó Seanacháin, Joey Lynch, Daragh Sheehy, Micheál Foley and Jack Foley. The lads played three exciting matches and won to accompany the quiz team to Donegal.

Finally, the U18 indoor soccer got underway. Ballydonoghue U18 panel of players were Kevin Cremin, Stephen Foley, Billy Joy, Jack Gogarty, Killian O Carroll, David Foley and Conor Kennelly. They also won through and should make for a great outing in Donegal for the National Finals.

We all wish Stephen a very speedy recovery from his broken wrist. We would also like to add our congratulations to the Ballydonoghue Grúpa Ceoil who succeeded in winning the Munster Final of Scór on Sunday. Of course three of those members i.e. Jason Foley, Kieran O Connell and Kevin O Neill would have been in Killarney with the Youth Club if the dates hadn't conicided. Best of luck to the above mentioned and Moira O Connell and Casandra Cremin in SCHOOL ENROLMENT: Parents/guardians wishing to enrol their children for Dromerin National School next September (2012), are invited to the school from February 6th - 10th to collect an enrolment form. COMMUNITY ALERT: The local branch of Community Alert are holding their A.G.M. on Thursday week, February 2nd in Lisselton School at 8.00pm. SCOR NA NÓG NA MUMHAN: The Ballydonoghue Club had a very successful afternoon at the Munster Finals of Scor Na nóg We had the usual high standard of competition from the competing counties which involved Kerry, Limerick, Cork, Tipperary and Clare. The format at this stage of competition that only the winners out of each category would qualify for the All Ireland Finals the Adjudicators had a tough task deciding as to who would go through. However when they eventually made their final decision there was great excitement from the huge North Kerry contingent when it was announced that Ballydonoghue in the Instrumental Music went through to the All-ireland Finals which will be staged in Castlebar, County Mayo, Saturday February 18th. Instrumental Music: Ballydonoghue Kieran O'connell, Myra O'connell, Kevin O'neill, Cassandra Cremin, Jason Foley. COMMUNITY GAMES: Well done to the U13 Boys Indoor Soccer team who competed in Listowel on Sunday last. They gave a very creditable account of themselves with the highlight of the day being their 5 - 2 victory over local rivals Asdee / B'longford. Top scorers for our boys on the day were Micheal Gogarty (4 goals) and Jack Kennelly (3 goals). Well done boys, stick together and no doubt success won't be far away. This is a very important game for the club as a win would see us move away from the foot of the league table.
