ST. JOSEPH'S SECONDARY SCHOOL ADULT NIGHT CLASSES - Adult night classes in Beginners French are beginning in the school on Tuesday February 23rd, 7.308.30pm. They will continue for 5 weeks. SCHOOL HURLING: Congratulations to Causeway comprehensive U16 team that is Munster champions. They defeated Roscrea in the Munster final at Rathkeale Tuesday. Full time score Causeway 6-9, Roscrea 1-5. Ballyheigue players on the team were Mikey O'Halloran, Jonathan Regan, Tomas Casey and Shane Casey. INDOOR HURLING league will begin this Saturday at 10 a.m. for national school boys and girls in the GAA hall. INTERNET CAFE - is running basic computer courses Thursday nights from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday mornings 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Courses are E75 with discount for OAPs and unemployed. Hurling training for 6 to 8 year olds this Thursday 11th Feb 7 to 8 p.m. in GAA hall. NORTH & EAST Kerry Development is running a new course for women parenting alone. Women in rural areas and involved in farming. The aim of the course is to help women identify goals and develop skills to progress to further education, training or employment. It will help to build confidence and enable women to access supports to overcome barriers and realise full potential.
