Gospel choir visit to Valentia Hospital
Sir, Following a recent visit as part of the Saidhbhin Soul Gospel Choir to Valentia Community Hospital I would to express my sincere thanks for the hospitality that the staff showed to the group on the day.
The choir performed for the residents and what a memorable day it was. They very much appreciated us taking the time to visit and a great sing song was had by the residents, staff and choir. The staff and visiting relatives provided us with some very welcome Christmas refreshments and I would like to thank all concerned.
The facility is currently fighting for survival due to a lack of funding and I would like to wish the present management every success in their efforts to retain the facility for the community. Sincerely, Breda O'shea, Gortnagree, Kells.
