Council needs to straighten out policy on roadworks

The Healy Pass with its winding roads that are loved by tourists.
Sir, I completely agree with M J Collins letter in last week's edition of The Kerryman regarding the straightening of the N86 Dingle to Camp road.
Every year, Kerry County Council gives us the same rubbish that there is no finance available for major projects yet here we have an example of road improvements that wouldn't be regarded as high priority compared to many more dangerous black spots in our county's road network.
It's a good job all of the Healy Pass isn't in the care of our council or they would want to straighten those hairpins too. Sincerely, Brendan O'shea, Listry.
