There's no escaping it – the awards season is well and truly upon us. The Oscar nominations were announced a few weeks ago (that prestigious ceremony takes place on Sunday, February 26), and the British equivalent, the Bafta Film Awards, are tomorrow night. But beating them both to it is our own, home-grown affair. There are more than 40 trophies to be awarded on the night in such categories as Best Film, Best Actor and Actress (Film and TV), Feature Documentary, Editing, Score and Production Design. Among the big names in the running are Michael Fassbender, Brendan Gleeson, Meryl Streep and Leonaro Dicaprio. Simon Delaney hosts.
