Gladiator Spartacus faces a dilemma when he is forced to choose between taking revenge on the man who condemned his wife to death and making the sacrifices necessary to keep his band of freed slaves together. However, Glaber and his troops have been sent out with the objective of crushing Spartacus's army. Mrs Brown's Boys (BBC1, 9.30pm) Agnes gets the wrong end of the stick and fears her relatives are planning to send her to a nursing home. Furious, she sets out to persuade them she is not going senile – but it is actually Spartacus the dog who is set to be rehoused.
