RENOWNED Lithuanian Classical pianist Mantautas Katinas will entertain audiences at Tech Amergin Arts Centre, Waterville, on Friday January, 2010 at 8pm.

Born in 1984 in Vilnius, Lithuania, Mantautas Katinas showed a natural gift for music since early childhood and gave his first public piano recital at the age of 11.

Katinas studied with the renowned pianist Sulamita Aronovsky at the Royal Academy of Music in London where he gained Master's Degree in performance in 2009. Since then he has been studying with Aronovsky privately. His repertoire includes a wide range of composers, but Franz Liszt holds a special significance for him.

• Franz Liszt (1811-1886) Sonata-Fantasia 'Après une lecture du Dante'

• Frederic Chopin (18101849) Ballada in G Minor Op. 23

• Franz Liszt Spanish Rhapsody
