Aussie singer takes in Kerry dates
Wednesday August 26 2009
A YOUNG Australian singer is bringing her unique talent to Kerry audience next month.
Chloe Hall is descibed as an engaging, intriguing, and charismatic young artist from Australia. To date she has built up a loyal following from her numerous live performances in Australia and more recently on the Canadian acoustic music scene.
In addition to her homeland and Canadian audience her new album 'Outside' will introduce her to Europe during her tour of the UK and Ireland in September.
Accompanied by long standing producer Greg Arnold (Things of Stone and Wood, Carus, Skipping Girl Vinegar), Chloe journeyed to Nashville where they met up to mix with alt-country star producer Brad Jones (Josh Rouse, Bob Evans). Taking the 60s-70s singersongwriter aesthetic of Chloe's third recording, the acclaimed album 'White Street', and marrying it to a new-millennium acoustica, she has delivered 'Outside.'
She appears in the St Johns Theatre, Listowel Square, Listowel on Friday, September 4 and in the Carnegie Arts Centre, Library Arts Centre, Kenmare on Sunday, September 6
Tickets for the Listowel show cost €15, €12 concession (Tel: 068 22566) and for the Kenmare show tickets cost €15 from 064 6648701. Both shows start at 8pm.
