No VAT hike at Harvey's
ELECTRICAL retailer Harvey Norman, who have an outlet at Tralee's Manor West Retail Park, has announced it will not be passing along the VAT increase to its customers In January 2012. However customers of the chain should take note that the company has advised it will reconsider changes from February onwards. "Consumers confidence is very low, and the last thing our customers need or want is price rises. Affordability is already a major issue for most households, and that is why we have decided not to pass on any increase in prices," said John Hollings Manager of Harvey Norman's electrical division.
