A shared housing scheme in Northern Ireland has won a prestigious award for helping bring communities together.
Shared Futures at Causeway Meadows in Lisburn is a mixture of social, rented and privately owned housing and accommodates people regardless of race or background.
Owner Clanmil Housing Association won the overall prize for outstanding achievement at the UK Housing Awards.
Paddy Gray, vice president of the Chartered Institute of Housing, said: "This development is groundbreaking and it gives people in Northern Ireland the opportunity to live in an integrated, safe and welcoming community.
"It is a testament to the importance of housing in creating cohesive and peaceful communities."
The awards recognise excellence in housing and are in their 13th year. They were presented at a ceremony at the Park Lane Hilton, London, attended by UK Housing Minister John Healey.
